By accessing or using Ultracoach ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

Ultracoach is an AI-powered ultramarathon training platform that provides personalized training plans, adaptive nutrition guidance, race strategy, wellness tracking, and multi-model AI coaching for endurance athletes. The Service uses artificial intelligence models from Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), and xAI (Grok) to generate recommendations.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep your account information up to date.

4. Health and Fitness Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL ADVICE, DIAGNOSIS, OR TREATMENT.

Ultracoach provides AI-generated training plans and nutrition recommendations for informational purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new exercise program, especially for ultramarathon training. You should seek medical advice if you experience any pain, discomfort, or unusual symptoms during training. You use the Service and follow any recommendations entirely at your own risk.

5. AI-Generated Content

Training plans, nutrition recommendations, race strategies, and coaching responses are generated by AI models and should be treated as suggestions, not professional coaching directives. AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or recommendations that are not suitable for your individual circumstances. You should use your own judgment and consult professionals when making training decisions.

6. Third-Party Integrations

The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Strava, Whoop, and FatSecret. When you connect these services, your data is shared according to each platform's own privacy policy and terms of service. Ultracoach is not responsible for the practices of third-party services. You may disconnect integrations at any time from your settings.

7. Strava Data Usage

When you connect your Strava account, Ultracoach accesses data from Strava's API in accordance with the Strava API Agreement. The following terms apply specifically to Strava data:

  • Data accessed: Ultracoach accesses your Strava activities (including distance, duration, pace, elevation, heart rate, GPS routes, and activity type), athlete profile information, and activity streams via the Strava API.
  • Display and visibility: Strava data retrieved by Ultracoach is displayed only to you, the authenticated user who authorized the connection. No Strava data is shared with other users, displayed publicly, or made accessible to any third party.
  • AI model training: Strava data is never used to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI or machine learning models. Your Strava data is used solely to provide you with personalized training insights, fitness calculations, and coaching within the Service.
  • Data retention: Strava data is stored in your Ultracoach account for as long as your Strava integration remains connected. When you disconnect Strava or delete your Ultracoach account, all Strava-sourced data is permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.
  • Revoking access: You may revoke Ultracoach's access to your Strava data at any time by navigating to Settings → Integrations → Strava and clicking "Disconnect." You can also revoke access directly from your Strava Connected Apps settings. Upon disconnection, Ultracoach will delete all data sourced from Strava.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including workout data, photos, nutrition logs, and wellness entries.
